　　里贝卡（Rebekka艾玛.莱斯饰），索菲亚（Sofie凯瑟琳.比约饰）和克劳蒂亚（Claudia阿玛丽.林加德饰）是高中一年级的新生，她们刚刚经过了传统的成人仪式。对于成长这个不可逃避的现实，她们有种从天而坠的失落感。在高中的文化课程中，她们学到了其他国家的一些成人仪式，于是里贝卡建议她们自己举办一个独特的成长仪式。仪式采用巫师占卜用的杯子，每个人必须执行自己选择的纸条里规定的内容，如果谁没有执行就必须裸体或者理光头站在学校门口示众。抽签的结果是：吕贝卡需要装扮成一个妓女，和一个寻春的男人单独在酒店的房间里相处； 索非亚需要和一个女孩子进行法式热吻；克劳迪亚必须亲吻同校一个书呆子男生……
　　
　　该如何做才意味着真正进入成人的行列？她们如何认识自己，又怎么样让自己真正满意？成人角色在这部电影里没有丝毫影响力，甚至是负面影响。不过即使在这种急需的帮助缺席的前提下，导演还是让她们安全地经受住成长和友谊的考验，只是这个过程略显残酷而已。
　　
　　这部《成人仪式》(Supervoksen)是青年女导演克里斯蒂娜.罗森达尔(Christina Rosendahl)执导的第一部电影。之前她一直从事纪录片的创作，她善于用镜头语言反映社会现实，《成人仪式》同样让人对电影创造的事实深信不疑。电影中很好地运用了慢镜头，而第一次操控的导演对于场景画面的氛围控制地也非常好。整部电影充满了反叛和越界的吸引力，遗憾的是这种吸引力在电影最后20分钟左右略显苍白，似乎在短暂的时间里让观众变得无所适从。不过，这毫不影响《成人仪式》成为丹麦目前最好的描写少女成长的电影之一。
