◎简　　介

　　一次心脏病发作之后，医生警告比尔，「要减轻生活中的压力」。一天，比尔亲眼见到了一个令他讨厌的混混意外死亡，就在那一刻，他感到他心中的乌云、压力全都消失了。于是，他开始杀害让他心烦的陌生人，这些谋杀让比尔的血压下降了一阵子，但连续谋杀案引起了不肖刑警保罗乔登的注意，保罗的调查和干扰使比尔的生活有如地狱，压力使他的血压飙升。
　　
　　保罗是名情绪不稳的警察，很犹豫是否要将比尔就地正法，或加入他的私刑行动。这两人最后究竟会演变成野蛮的狩猎比赛，又或是一种正义的伸张？为了不让自己入狱又不送命，比尔只能使出非常手段了。
