　　很久很久以前，在美丽的童话王国，一切都按照经典的童话书按部就班。童话王国太安全了，以至于安全部部长、主管王国爱情故事圆满结局的大巫师都闲得没事干，决定替自己放个假去好好玩玩高尔夫。临走之前，他安排了自己的两个助手曼伯和蒙克掌管安全事宜，不幸的是，这两个小家伙有点缺心眼。

　　瞅准了这个颠覆王国的最好机会，灰姑娘的恶毒继母弗丽达起了坏心思，为了破坏童话王国的所有善良公民，特别是灰姑娘的幸福生活，她和大灰狼等恶魔组成了邪恶同盟，控制了童话世界，打算彻底改换王国的面貌。

　　可怜灰姑娘这次可被害惨了，本来就将和白马王子钟情一吻的她，却眨眼间失去了锦衣华服，浪漫爱情不复存在。而王国里其他可爱的姑娘们，也因为弗丽达的捣乱，姻缘纷纷乱了套。为了拯救童话王国，也为了拯救自己变得一塌糊涂的爱情，艾拉只好带着七个小矮人、曼伯、蒙克和城堡的可爱洗碗工瑞克一起努力奋起对抗继母，重新回到“从此过着幸福快乐的生活”的结局。
