◎简　　介

　　美发师贾斯廷斯某晚与男友在汽车电影院看电影，男友被寻仇的流氓打死在车内。这沉重的打击使贾斯廷斯一蹶不振，整日靠写诗抒发心中的苦闷，尽量不与外界来往。经常到美发店来送信的邮差想打开她的心结，但却兜头被浇了一盆冷水。贾斯廷斯接受美发店老板劝告，与女友伊莎去奥克兰游玩散心。本来计划是由伊莎的男友提供车辆并担任司机，但因临时有变，只好另请他人。结果被请来的恰恰是那位受到羞辱的邮差。一路上，大家相处并不愉快。贾斯廷斯一度曾想下车，步行至奥克兰。但天公似乎专门捉弄人，一路下来，势不两立的双方竟成了好朋友。
