◎简　　介

　　迈克尔欠了都柏林最臭名昭著的恶棍达伦·皮雷的钱，钱要到期的时候，迈克尔最好的朋友，最近刚刚被甩的，而且还有点自杀倾向的布伦达误杀了达伦的一个小喽啰。雪上加霜的是迈克尔那个久无来往的父亲吉姆恰巧在这个时候回来了，他目击了这个场景。三个人都被吓坏了，逃到了深山里。

　　迈克尔的父亲吉姆有点偏执，他坚信他下次睡觉时就会死去；另一方面布伦达也越来越愁眉苦脸，跟这样的两个人一起逃亡，迈克尔快要疯掉了。但是当追捕他们的网越收越紧，而他们之间慌乱的局面日渐不可收拾的时候，他必须要学着原谅他的父亲并正视自己对布伦达的真正的感情。

　　都柏林所有难缠的家伙都在找他们，看起来迈克尔是活不过接下来的24小时了；然而，真正的死神和一帮野狗般的混混正在虎视眈眈地打着迈克尔的主意……
